NEW for 2010! DREAM BOXES!!

Our newest offering is the DREAM BOX! This beautiful image box includes a CD button to hold a CD of your images. It also can hold up to 18 matted images from your portrait session. You will be able to use the image CD to have your own prints made at your local photo print shop, and the 5×7 matted prints can be used as reference prints. The prints will be your reference to make sure your photo lab is giving you correctly printed images. The box also comes with a silk ribbon inside that makes it easier to remove the 5×7 matted prints. There is also a magnetic closure that keeps the box shut nicely. This DREAM BOX is a fabulous and fun way to keep all of the images from your session together forever. This is perfect for those maternity or newborn sessions or mini sessions!!!

Senior portraits don’t have to be silly, corny, or boring. We’ll take the time (2-3 hours) and will do anything to create something truly special in every session. We incorporate high-end digital technology into your portraits. After your session, Shelley takes another 2-3 hours preparing your images in the computer to produce the award-winning, emotional, and fun images. “Good enough” isn’t!

Surfing Dog on Currituck’s Outer Banks

Last night I was in Corolla to photograph a really cool family, they were so much fun and VERY spontaneous, as you can see in the photos. When I thought I was done, one of the kids threw one of the other kids into the ocean, and before I knew it all the kids were getting very wet! It was fun and I got some cute shots of that.
Before I met with the family though, I was standing on the deck watching a surfer and his dog. The dog paddled out behind him, then climbed aboard the surfboard where he promptly laid down watching for a swell to come along, at which time he stood up and rode the wave in. Too cool, I can’t even get my dog to lay down and roll over!
